Palaye Royale

There’s no better way to spend a Tuesday night than diving into a rock show with a four-band bill. Last week, Palaye Royale took the stage, headlining at Emo’s Austin. Fans were in full force, moshing to their heart's content, and the buzz of anticipation remained palpable by the time Palaye Royale took the stage. Fresh off the release of their latest album, Death or Glory, the three brothers burst onto the stage with insane energy, illuminated by an LED display flashing "Death or Glory". Throughout the set, lead singer Remington Leith and guitarist Sebastian Danzig closed the gap between them and the crowd, stepping off the stage to sing along with eager fans at the barricade. The energy never ebbed as the band delivered a thrilling mix of tracks from their latest album and deep cuts from their debut. Leith brought the show to a climactic close by splitting the crowd down the middle and leaping into a mosh pit during “Mr. Doctor Man.”
