Full of Hell
Grindcore, powerviolence, deathgrind, noise… whatever you categorize their genre-bending music as, Full of Hell is a band that truly encompasses all facets of being a metal band. They tore the house down in Toronto at Phoenix Concert Theatre, starting their set with the hard-hitting Halogen Bulb. Full of Hell’s music is nothing short of aggressive, and weave in many musical inspirations from every corner of the metal genre. Between ferociously rapid instrumentals, a plethora of blast beats, and the shrill screams of frontman Dylan Walker (occasionally in harmony with the guttural growls of bassist Sam DiGristine), they were able to whip the crowd into an adrenaline frenzy in mere moments – and the energy only grew as the night continued. The moshpit was ceaseless, the crowd surfers seemed to drop over the barricade in waves – looking away from the crowd, or band on stage, was nearly impossible. Walker made sure no inch of the stage was left empty while he frantically paced and jumped around on stage, only rallying the crowd even further! One thing's for sure; Full of Hell exceeded above and beyond expectations, and ensured that their show would be one to remember. They only have a handful of tour dates left on their North American tour, so catch them while you can! Or, if you happen to be in Australia this August, they will be on tour with the brilliant Thou… and that will definitely be a tour for the books!
